  1. Technical support for development of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) landfill gas recovery projects in S. Africa. Multiple projects with international partners for sellers of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs), including private sector and public sector landfill owners and operators. One project included pre-feasibility assessment of 15 landfill sites. Partners include Lee International (www.go-worldlee.com); Jones & Wagener (S. Africa); Ardeer (S.   1. Technical support and marketing for Gas Technology Products/Merichem, Schaumburg, Illinois. Liquid oxidation catalyst process (LO-CAT; MINI-CAT) for effective removal of hydrogen sulfide from landfill gas.   7. Multiple projects involving landfill gas trace components: their occurrence, variability, treatment. Includes volatile siloxanes (organic silicon compounds), Hg, and other trace components.
